Philosophie : "what do u think?"

I am sure that all of you have seen the famous ''Saw'',but if you look at it in a philosophical way, would you agree with him?I mean,do we sometimes forget the value of our lifes? and are we really capable to do anything to survive?

I do sorta agree with him in a way.

We don't always appreciate the lives we have, and it can take a really life-threatening event to realize this. However, killing them in such gruesome manners and all IS a bit harsh. =P

Most people who commit suicide try to stop it even if they want to die cause of the survival instinct.

For example, people who wait on railroads to be hit by the train, try to avoid it at the last second, cause of the survival instinct.

Suicide is an intentional act, survival instinct isn't.

I think the survival instinct exists, but not always. Because some people commit suicides.
