Middle school : "class-to-class pen-pal links"

Hello. I'm an English teacher in a secondary school in Gunma, Japan. I'm planning to start class-to-class correspondence. 32 students(15 boys and 17 girls) are doing the project. They are 12-13 years old and they started learning English this spring. They are now writing English letters to each other as a warm-up. They really want penpals is other countries. If you are interested in my idea, or if you have any questions about the project, please write to me.

Hello Yasuhiro,
I am an assistant teacher at a private school in the United States and am looking for our class to expand and learn 'first hand' from students around your same age group in Japan. I think it's an incredible experience for both parties, so if you are still interested, please e-mail me back and we can work out the details.

Hoping to hear from you soon,
Yoko

Hi I am John. I am a school proprietor in Uganda and there is another school I head officially as Headmaster. This brings mee into touch with lots of school heads many of whom are interested in school twinning projects.

I can be reached on that e-mail address and if your class still wants a letter exchange project, we are on.

Hello! I’m an English teacher in Dalaman/Muðla in Turkey. I’m a primary school teacher from 4th grade to 8th grade. But I’m looking for my 6th and 7th grades between the ages 12-14. I also want to have pen-pals for my students from different countries to improve their English. I saw your ad and I decided that your students can be my students’ pen-pal which I like it most. Maybe our schools can be twin school. If you’re also interested in my suggestion please send me an e-mail to lalekurt@yahoo.com. I’ll reply to you as soon as possible.
Be seeing you.

Hi! I am a sixth grade teacher in New York looking for pen pals for my students. My social studies curriculum this year is the eastern hemisphere so I thought my students my learn better through communicating with students living there. I teach 4 classes of 20-25 students each so can accomodate as few or as many classes as you have interested.

Thank you for your time,
Cori

I would love to set up a pen pal club for my 7th and 8th graders. I'm a science teacher, but want my children more aware of the world. Please let me know as soon as you can so that I may get my school to schedule time.
Thanks,
Jim Hayn

I have a few Gr 6 students aged 12, who are interested in writing to students from different countries. If you are interested, please write and let me know what you think. It's a good opportunity for your students to practice their English. I prefer postal letters.
