Cooking : "Donuts:)"

Hi guys well you need an oil pan and A LOT of oil for this recepe. i have put them in grams and ounces. grams=g and ounces=oz.
you need:
225g (8oz) plain flour
half a teaspoon barcarbonate of soda
1 level teaspoon cream of tartar
pinch of ground cinnamon
25g (1oz) butter
50g (2oz) caster sugar
1 egg, beaten/whisked
milk (if necessary)
Lots of oil for frying.

what to do:
1.sift the flour, bicarbonate of soda, cream of tartar and cinnamon into a large bowl and rub in the butter with your fingertips.
2.stir in the sugar then make a hole in the centre. pour in the whisked eggs and stir until the mixture is a stiff dough. if it is too stiff, add some milk.
3.Put the dough on a floured surface and knead quickly. roll out the dough then cut out a circle then a smaller circle inside.
Heat the oil until bubbling then lower in the donuts with a spatula. when they have finished frying lift them out and wait for them to drip then put in a bowl of sugar and turn until covered.
Eat warm:)
for any other recepes you can be my pen pal:)
my ref number is 813532:)

I like frozen, store-bought, microwaved donuts or homemade baked donuts but on the family's rooster it says that I can eat only three bites of one on a special occasion and that's it!
