Cooking : "Street Food"

Hi Everyone!

I'm really interested in different cuisines and cultures, especially "street food". Wherever you are from, I would love to hear about the Street Food in your area (or any other types of food), and get to know the culture of your country too. I'm especially interested in Asia and Africa, but I love the US and Europe too (especially France - my one true love!).

Well I live in WI Milwaukee and here we have a lot of different kinds of people, like were I live we have a lot of Spanish and Mexican population so we have shaved ice person that comes down in the middle of the street. And a corn on the cob person ( sooo good!!) And tamales and such. But if you go downtown you might see a person selling snacks like chips and hot dogs, or even see someone selling coffee or something but that's how it is here ,im sure new York is different. ( hope I helped!)
