| | I once saw this NatGeo show about what might happen if the world runs out of oil, and according to it, there wouldn't be enough land to grow emaough corn to feed people and provide biofuel. So that factor is out too. Howvever, it did suggest creating biofuel from algae. Now it didn't say anything else about that, so I have no idea how much it costs/ if it's even possible to do that yet. There's also a way to harvest methane gas from landfills. In fact in some cases, there are power plants built right over them to harvest the energy from decomposing trash. But I don't know why we havent' done that for all landfills yet. |
