122479 - from Kerstin (Germany) - 2018-07-11 : "Looking for pen pals" Hi everyone, I am a teacher at a primary school in Berlin Germany. I am looking for pen pals to match with my year 5 students (25 kids at the age of 10/11) throughout school year 2018-2019 starting end of August. My aim is to broaden my students understanding of the world and cultural differences and to improve their (basic) English skills. Preference: snail mail would be great! I am not a native speaker but had 7 years total of German in School and university. We are teaching full immersion and would like to have a pen pal to write to as we learn. I teach 5th grade academically gifted students (age 10-11) and we are also looking for pen pals for the 2018-2019 school year. My goal also is to broaden my students understanding of the world and cultural differences. I would also LOVE to correspond through snail mail!!!
