: "Looking for pen pals"

Hi everyone,
I am a teacher at a primary school in Berlin Germany. I am looking for pen pals to match with my year 5 students (25 kids at the age of 10/11) throughout school year 2018-2019 starting end of August. My aim is to broaden my students understanding of the world and cultural differences and to improve their (basic) English skills. Preference: snail mail would be great!
Looking forward to starting a new experience.
Cheers, Kerstin

Hi

I am a teacher and a mom. My children are 10 and 11. We are in our first year of German. I am not a native speaker but had 7 years total of German in School and university. We are teaching full immersion and would like to have a pen pal to write to as we learn. My 10 year old is a boy and my 11year old is a girl.

Please let me know if we can get pen pals for them

Thank you

MJ

Hi, I’m really interested in your proposal. I’ve got 22 students, 7 boys and 14 girls, aged 10/11 who attend the first class of a public Italian middle school (in Sardinia). Tell me if you are still looking for pen pals
Regards
Daniela

We sound like the PERFECT match for your class. I teach 5th grade academically gifted students (age 10-11) and we are also looking for pen pals for the 2018-2019 school year. My goal also is to broaden my students understanding of the world and cultural differences. I would also LOVE to correspond through snail mail!!! I have close to 50 students, but can either partner them up or ideally find some additional pen pals for some of them from other places around the world. I really hope to hear from you soon!

My daughter Anya is interested in having a German penpal. She will write in English and her interest is in East Germany. Can you help us?

Hello,

My name is Josh and I am a 5th grade teacher as well in Orlando, Florida USA. I currently teach 22 students, ages 9-10 and would love to set up a pen pal exchange with your class (I can find 3 more students if you need a perfect match). I am primarily looking for a regular snail mail exchange between our two classes. If you're interested please email me and I will send the names of our students and the school address!

Hi, Kerstin!
I am Ludmila, a teacher of English from Ukraine. I'll have Grade 5 (10-11 y.o.) this school year. I don't know exact number of students, but there will be 23-25 of them. They know English rather well and they'll start German in September. If you're interesting, email me moiraine00@gmail.com.
Best wishes -
Ludmila

Hi ! I teach english (as a second language). I am interested by your project. I would want to offer to my students real and significant writing situations to improve their english skills and to show them the importance of learning english. I have a few ideas. It can be a long term project. We live in Canada. Our first language is french ( we live in Quebec). Contact-me if you are interested : jessy.labrie@csdufer.qc.ca. :)
