In my opinion, wolves are absolutely stunning animals. Their intelligent, beautiful and strong. They've been my favourite animal for a while and I love them to bits :D

Aww :/ I love wolves, they're my favorite animal. Unfortunately we don't have any wolves where I live -- the closest I've come to seeing one is a small red wolf at the zoo. I've always thought they were beautiful creatures, and the more I learn about them, the more I like them! If people didn't tear down their habitats and hunt their food, then they wouldn't have to hunt sheep. They shouldn't let people shoot the wolves -- people just need a better pen to put their sheep in.

Hello, everybody! I'm form Zamora, Spain, but i live in Madrid; Where is alot of wolves in Spain? Of course, in Zamora's nearest mountain: Sneak Mountain (Sierra Culebra, in Spanish)

Just a curiosity... Spain has only wolves in all of Lion-Castel(Castilla-Le�n) and in the Pirinies' (Pirineos) nearest towns, like Aragon or Navarra. But, there aren't so much wolves in my country, and the wolves are in hard-survivor time, just because the burning of the forest where they live or the haunt...

If you like books about wolves, I highly suggest you read the Shiver series by Maggie Steifvater (her last name may be spelled wrong. Sorry!). That series is absolutely terrific! Also, the Sight by David Clement-Davis is written in a wolf's point of view. Its really awesome :)

Hi, I'm Dodger (or Siahaambe if you want to call me by my proper name), and I'm a great dane dog. I have a lot of wolf in my blood, my father was a wolf, my mother a golden retriever dog. Ok, so you're wondering why whose two different animals would make a great dane - I'll tell you. I'm no ordinary dog. I'm a W.A. I can't tell you what it stands for, but I can tell you what it is. W.A.s are beings invisible to the eyes of an earth animal. We live with our parents until we are old enough to leave home, so we go to find a human body to have as our own. We control the human's movements, making them act like us. What we say is what they say. Luckily, this means that to a human with no knowledge of us whatsoever doesn't know we're there, and just sees a human. Also we can leave our human and do what we like. I'm best buds with my human, Lauren. Lauren's friends also have W.A.s, most of which are in my family. My wife, Emily the cat, doesn't have a human but she knows Lauren as well and we're pretty much happy.

Ok....this isn't made up. Nobody made this up. You say it's creative? Well life is creative. I'm telling you - this is no story. Nobody makes up something like that. Lauren didn't make it up - I've been with her for two years. Every day for the last two years she has thought of me every day, every hour, at least very twenty mintutes. What impending doom is coming to the forest, and what does Riversong mean?

P.S:(The answer is an evil pack called Bonepack is coming to the forest and going to try to take it over. All the packs must unite in order to stop it, but first, the chosen wolves must find this out by going to the mountains and talking with Starlight, the fox.)

Wolf - "A Tragedy for you All"

'Riversong's Secret' ends in a terrible tragedy. A fire comes into the forest. Atuke, Chemukh's son, tries to save his sister, Yalith. But Yalith disappears and Atuke is trapped in between branches lit on fire. Riversong leaps to Atuke and hauls him over the branches, and he runs to safety. Meanwhile, Riversong searches for Yalith(who is in the safety of Windpack territory) and is trapped in a forest of fire. A long time later, Chemukh and Atuke come out when the fire dies down and find Riversong, who is scorched and nearly dead. Riversong mutters kind words about Chemukh and her pups(Yalith, Sokka, and Atuke) before dying. Chemukh is left devastated, and wondering where Yalith went.

The End!

Dodger the dog here (check out my blog, Dodger's Dog Blog, on blog-city.info). How can you hate wolves? They are more intelligent than a human ever was. I am proud to be descended from them.
1. Wolves hunt to survive, keep the food chain alive. Humans look after animals, getting them to trust them, before betraying them and killing them to feed people that are not even in their pack, mostly.
2. Wolves fight other packs to keep what is their own. They don't just go into other homes and steal and killlike humans.
3. They trust their packs with their lives, which is more than I can say for some human families.
Now, who's more intelligent - my distant relatives, or the humans who capture my species (dogs) breaking the rules of wildlife?

I know what you mean. The reason you don't like them is because they are misunderstood creatures. Here are some REAL LIFE WOLF FACTS that show that people should like them more:
Did you know...
Records say people have killed over 2000000 wolves and wolves have killed NONE of us?
Wolves love each other very much. They spend time playing, eating, and howling together. When you think about it, they are like one big wolf family.
The Alpha of the pack is the leader. He is usually the only one that mates, and he defends pack territory. He also tells the pack members when they are allowed to eat, and, although he usually acts serious, he can be sweet and playful. He also has the right to change the rank of any wolf. Another Alpha duty is to protect pack territory.
The Beta wolf is another important wolf. He/she cares for the pups(once they are big enough to come out of their den), he/she is a protector, and is a peacemaker. He/she is second in command.
The Alpha-female is the mate of the Alpha. She is the only one that has babies. She is fairly important, and has one of the highest ranks. She is the only wolf that has a den, but she gives up the den when the wolf pups are ready to go out and explore.
The Omega is the lowest ranked wolf. He is like the joker of the Alpha. He isn't as confident, but when the wolves are in a bad mood, he begins to make them play, which makes the wolves happy.
The Omega-female is less important. She is exactly like the Omega, but female.
Other wolves are like average citizens of a city. They help hunt, and taunt the Omega(s) a lot. They like to play. They are ranked things like Delta or Gamma, but since they all have the same abilities, we call them Average Wolves.
There can only be 2 Omegas, 1 Beta wolf, and 2 Alphas maximum.
Also, here's how the Alpha handles wolves when they eat:
The Alpha says when a wolf can eat or not. The Omega(s) must wait for his/her/their turn. If the Omega(s) try or manage to get even one bite of food without the Alpha's permission, the Alpha will pounce on the Omega(s) as a warning.
Wolves hunt as a team, to help corner the prey, surround it, etc. Wolves need much food to survive, especially in the winter when it snows, although they love playing in it.
All wolves have the same gray undercoat, which is as dense as wool. But on the fur on the outside can have a different color(like black), which gives the wolves their color.
There are several types of wolves:white, gray, black, and red wolves. Red wolves only exist in zoos.

Too me a wolf is not a threat. A wolf is a creature of intelligence and beauty. They are majestic. I, honestly, think that they do not try to look like they are mean they do it because humans try to kill them! A wolf is no threat to me.

I totally agree. A Wolf's eyes are very much the same as ours but they have amber eyes, and we don't. We care about colours to much in the human world. A wolf cannot see colour. So to them, when they look at your eyes, they see a wolf's eye.
