Ingredients:
2 cuilleres à soupe de sucre brun
150 gr beurre

Cooking - "Omelet"

I love helping my parents with cooking, and try some things by myself.
One of my favourite dishes to make is a Dutch omelet. In Dutch it is a 'Boeren omelet'.

Recipe:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ingredients for 4 persons

A half cup mushrooms
100 g chicken breast
1 large potato
400 g (frozen) spinach
1 onion
1 clove of garlic
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 eggs
pinch of curry
Salt and pepper
preparation

Peel the potatoes and cut into small cubes. Peel and chop the onion and garlic.
Cut the chicken in small pieces and the mushrooms into slices.
Heat the spinach in a pan for about 5 minutes on low heat.
preparation

Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the potatoes about 6 minutes. Add the mushrooms, onion, garlic and chicken and cook about 5 minutes until the onions are soft and the potatoes are cooked. Beat the eggs.
Mix the potato mixture and spinach through.
Season to taste with curry, salt and pepper.
Put the mixture into the skillet and cook about 5 minutes over medium heat. Let the omelette on a cover slip and turn it over in the pan. Bake for 1-2 minutes.

Cut the omelette in points.
Contains about 145 kcal per person.

Cooking - "Fennel au gratin"

An easy recipe and delicious:
INGREDIENTS: for 6 person
-3/4 fennels
- for BESCIAMELLA :
40 g of butter
1 tablespoon and an half of flour
a bit of milk
nutmeg
a bit of italian parmesan
PREPARATION
Wash the fennel, cut into slices. In a pot full of water, put a little 'salt. Boil until they are soft.
In a saucepan, put the butter and let it dissolve (do not burn!).
When all the butter has melted, add the flour and mix together. Everything will be a mush rather homogeneous. Add a splash of milk and mix together with whisk (preferably one that captures the lumps). Slowly add the milk and stir, add, whenever it solidifies, a little milk, until it becomes a kind of cream.
Stir constantly and add a pinch of salt. Add a pinch of nutmeg and stir.
Remove from heat and drain them the fennel. In a baking dish, distribute the fennel above them add the cream, which we first prepared, and mix.
Turn the oven.
Above the baking pan full of fennel, sprinkle the Parmesan cheese.
Place in the oven. Remove from the oven when the surface of fennel there will be a golden crust.
Serve warm.

BON APETIT!!!!

This is how you make the NEW ZEALAND cake; Pavlova:
Ingrediants:
6 egg whites
1 3/4 cups caster sugar
1 teaspoon malt vinegar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 teaspoons cornflour
1 tablespoon boiling water

Method:
Preheat oven to 100 C. Place all ingredients in the bowl of an electric mixer and beat for 15 minutes until smooth, glossy and when you rub a little mixture between your thumb and index finger you cannot feel grains of sugar. Draw a 24 cm circle on a sheet of baking paper - easiest to draw round the edge of a cake pan. Place the baking paper on an oven tray and pile the mixture into the circle, smoothing edges. Bake for 1 1/2 hours and then turn off the oven and allow to sit in the oven with the door closed for at least another hour or until the oven is cold.

I like to have a snack in Baker & Spice in Chelsea, London, England. The hot choc there is yummy-mummy! I also like Italian kisses, marzipan cookies, there. They are yummy.
For more info go to Baker&Spice web:
bakerandspice.uk.com

If you live in London, you are lucky. All the cafes are there: Belgravia, Chelsea and MaIda Vale.
All cafes are open from 7am to 7pm on Mon.-Sat. and from 8am to 6pm on Sundays.

Love this cafe! Never go to Nero, Starbucks.

Also Ca'puccino on Kings Road is good. Best brownies are there! But not as good a in Baker&Spice!

Cooking - "Apple and chocolate Strudel"

Hi,I teach you an italian dessert recipe .
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 kg apples
- pine nuts
- raisins
- a bit of butter (size of a walnut)
- flaky pastry
- 1 bar of milk chocolate
- honey
- sugar
-bread crumbs
PREPARATION
Unroll the puff pastry from the package. Take a tablespoon of bread crumbs and spread over the entire puff pastry (does not stick to the apples to the pastry). Spread over the pastry a little 'honey.
Cut the apples into small cubes. Take a pan and melt the butter. Put the apples in the pan and stir 2 minutes. After 5 minutes, add 2 or 3 tablespoons of sugar and stir for 1 minute. Add the apples to the pastry horizontally. Cut in half the chocolate bar. One half of the chocolate, cut into small cubes and sprinkle over apples.
Roll the puff pastry out without the apples.
Dissolve the other half of the chocolate in a double boiler (bain marie), along with a little 'butter. When all the chocolate has melted, spread it over the roll.
Bake at 180-200 ° C.
Be careful that the chocolate does not burn!

How is dissolved in a double boiler: take a pot, fill it with water to 3/4, boil slightly. Take another pan and place it over the pot with water. Meanwhile, melt into the pot without water, the chocolate with the butter.

I hope it's good!!!

hey! I have this amazing and super easy recipe for you all to try...one of my favorite foods is salsa, and over the summer i found a great way to make it so its not too spicy, but it has a little "zing" to it!
-first you need about 3 large tomatoes (ripe) cut them up, I like to use a food processor to do that
-next chop up sweet red, orange, yellow, and one spicy pepper, along with some basil and cilantro, and put that in the processor
-then, take an onion (doesnt matter what kind) and chop it up
-put some cracked peppercorn in the salsa
-mix it all together, and squeeze some lime juice in there
-serve with pita or tortilla chips and enjoy!

HOPE YOU LIKE IT AS MUCH AS I DO!

Cooking - "Any penpal for me ?"

Hi chefs ! I am fond of cooking and especially pastry (but I m still a dabbler), I am looking for a penpal who share my passion to talk about it with him/her.
I am a french girl so I can give you some tricks about the quite difficult french cuisine !
Hope you'll reply me soon !

I don't agree with you because all the cuisines are necessarily a mixture of different cultures and it make them richer, but french cuisine is not the same as Itzlizn or Spanish cuisine even if they inspired it

Does "French cuisine" exist at all? It's rather a blend of styles taken from other Southern countries, indeed...
