I'm looking at some reviews and looks like CreoPop and 3Doodler are good brands. Referenced - thewiredshopper.com/best-3d-printing-pens - Has anyone tried these?

Thank you.

If you're a middle or high school teacher in the U.S. looking to connect your classroom with a class from a different state, check out American Pals at www.americanpals.org. It's an intra-national pen pal organization helping American students connect with peers outside their geographic/cultural "bubbles" through year-long, offline letter exchanges. It's a great way to help bridge some of the divides in the country while allowing kids to rediscover a form of communication/relationship-building different from what they've learned in the digital age!

Hello-

My name is Daniel. I teach a French 1 to English/Spanish-speaking students in Chicago USA. We are looking for pen pals. My goal is to find writing partners for at least two of my four classes. It would be fun for students to correspond in French and English.

I'm hoping there is a matching group of similarly-aged Francophone students learning English that we could connect with.

For many of our students here, Spanish is their home language, but most of them also speak English very well.

I was thinking we could Skype at some point as well and possibly collaborate on a project. Our school runs until late June.

If successful, maybe we could continue next school year when they take French 2.

High school - "Help your students learn well and fast"

Hi,

I am looking for teachers who find it difficult to set up projects with collaborating foreign classrooms/schools. Looking for teachers who put tons of energy into projects who sometimes never see the light of day. Looking for teachers who want their students to use what you teach them whether it be grammar, vocabulary or listening, etc.. Looking for teachers who are either NOT computer savvy at all or who have some understanding of technology. And finally, looking for teachers teaching in middle or high school. Please email me or leave me your email to send you the tool I am using to make it a breeze for you to get your students to new heights!

High school - "Seeking International PenPals"

I have 57 honors level 15 and 16 year-old American students this semester who would like to correspond in English to learn about cultures in many countries. We are interested in sending and receiving two messages each - either through email, flipgrid videos, or both. I have experience with exchanges in the past and can set up conversation starters or follow whatever goals you are interested in pursuing. We can work with partners if you do not have enough students for each. Please let me know if you would like to correspond. jmansour@chatham.k12.nc.us

Hello all!

I am searching for penpals around the world that speak English. I have three different classes in 4th grade, with each class ranging from 17-18 in size and would like our penpals to be around the same age. In all we have 54 students that would be participating, but each class does not have to be from the same area. We are wanting to learn about other cultures and improve on writing skills. The students are all very excited about this and can't wait to start!

Our school is located in northern Missouri.

Primary school - "Looking for Pen Pals Overseas"

Hello, I am a fourth-grade teacher in Illinois, USA. I am trying to set up a pen-pal system with students for about 88 students. Two of the four classes are Spanish speaking students who are taught language arts and social studies in English and math and science in Spanish. The other two classes are taught in English 100% of the time (some of these students are native Spanish speakers). I am thinking about having the students write their letters in English and then scanning them to send via an email.

Middle school - "Looking for penpal class"

Hello All Teachers from around the world,

I teach 20 Special Needs middle school students in North Carolina, USA. We would like to converse through email with other English speaking students to share thoughts and ideas on culture with other countries in order to participate in the Digital Learning Community. Sharing these ideas will help with our Content & Instruction as well as Digital Citizenship.

We can share thoughts and ideas on foods, clothing, environmental issues, traditions, holidays or anything else that the students might want to discuss. The aim of this project is to not create other assignments for them, but to just have them communicate ideas, and have opportunities to write. They can also share pictures or short video clips from their schools.

If this sounds interesting to your school and students and you would like to participate please email me at beverlyturner@wcps.org. I am looking forward to hearing from any school from around the world who would like to take part.
