Hello, I see that so many of you love butterflies. I do as well. In fact, If you think upon it, They're quite a sign of new beginning, and a promise of that hope new beginning's bring. As for their color, I personally have never seen a purple one. New scientific research of the species documentation are being found though. It's quite possible that there are purple butterflies. However, The brighter colors of this insect usually indicate that it's a preferential animal to being alone. Hence the look of its vibrant color. There color wards away other animals from coming near to it. This is both good and bad. It's unfortunate for people wanting to find them and collect. It's also very good though :) other, more aggressive animals know then to leave it alone. What is incredible most is that the butterfly, No matter its size, color, or location, Will always be a symbol of hope and to never give up. Like an awaited cocoon, So its caterpillar too will one day become beautifully alive.

I love butterflies too. I used to fill a jar with tiny butterflies and release them afterwards when I was a kid. They are so cute and lovely. But I don't like to touch their bodies. Hehe:D

That insect.. is love. unlike what you bear in your heart, this butterfly, love in other words, is the most precious thing in this world. It IS and insect as you said. but we give all those names ourselves, its not like they are 'insects' in fact. for example, we might be calling those 'animals' humans, and call ourselves animals. its just a word. thinking that you are more important than a butterfly is nothing but an illusion. we are, just like them, EARTHLINGS. so why not accept them as one of us, and begin knowing yourself?

Good thing I like them too their so dramatic and my style !
I toke care of a butterfly once in third grade , it was so fun !
It was a larva I named it Emily , then it turned into a butterfly .
But sad thing when it turned into a butterfly we had too let it go !
