Nowadays, many many people have pets like dogs, cats and fish. They're all our best friends. But among all of them, dogs are one of the cleverest animals as our pets. They're lovely and helpful, too. Many many years ago, people kept a dog as a pet because it could guard the caves they lived in. Early men could use tools to hunt animals but they couldn't run very fast, so they also kept a dog to help them hunt animals for food. Nowadays, dogs also help the police and the officers at the airport to make the city safe. They also help the blind people and farmers to do many things. As you can see, dogs are our best friends. We mustn't be cruel to them. We must take good care of them.Do you agree with me?

I believe that a dog's love is the best example on this earth riht now of God's love toward us. I have thought that for many years now. They contribute so much to our society - even Canine Officer Gunner who was just stabbed 10 times protecting Memphis. It is time that the public who call themselves animal lovers step up and fight for these animals rights and welfare. They cannot speak for themselves - we are the only voice they have. I am sorry about your dog's death and I, as well, hope that your article encourages people to be a little bit more careful in their care for their pets. Oh, Dog spelled backwards spells God.

Thank you for writing such a great article. It made me stop and reflect on my pets. Im not sure the first two commenters actually "understood" the article, my suggestion to them is to reread the WHOLE article. They will soon realize that point of the story is not the dos and don'ts on how to care for a pet.Love dogs!

You're right.Dogs are really our best friends,even more our best friends.I also have a beautiful dog,about two years old.Her name is Sleek and strong,like most chocolate labs.She excelled at running and swimming and never met a fact she didn't want to lick.

There are many reasons for a dog to begin to lose her hair. I will list a couple of possible reasons:
1) She has fleas/mites: You would need to buy a special shampoo to fix this problem. But if she isn't scratching a lot then this is not your problem at all.
2) She needs other nutrients in her diet: You can try adding fish or fish oil to her diet because it has essential fatty acids which promote good skin and fur.
3) She is just getting old: If she is very old and nothing but her age has really changed then this could be her problem.

It could be something else altogether, but the above problems are ones I have seen before. If your dog goes to the vet regularly you could ask them what they think (they are actual professionals and can tell you a lot more than I can).

I hope your dog feels better!
