Hello, we are looking for several E-Mail contacts all around the world! Colegio Fervan is a private school in Bogotá, Colombia, with approx. 600 students. They are attending to the school from kindergarten up to colombian school-leaving exam, Bachillerato. The main focus of the school is mathematics and sciences, but the school offers the ability to learn several foreign languages. Besides English, which is taught since the first grade, the pupils can choose from sixth grade on to learn a second foreign language. They can choose between German, French, Chino-Mandarin, Japanese and Korean, which are taught by native speakers. The possibilities to get in contact with other cultures in Colombia, unfortunately, are surely limited. For the students of this school it is great possibility to exchange with other cultures, increasing the motivation to learn a foreign language and get to know more about other cultures. The Colombian semester will only go till the end of November and will begin again in February. We hope, if you are interested in contact with Colegio Fervan, that on grounds of this short remaining time, the students can get in contact as soon as possible. |

Hello! This is an invitation for you and your students to share with us in a collaborative project for this term. We are a class of 35 students of 10th grade in a public (government) school in Bogotá - Colombia. Students ages are between 14 and 17 years old. They are willing to know new friends and share learning while exploring cultural, regional, and interesting topics supported by the use and appropriation of mass media and new technologies. They are learning how to be "Reporters" for school newspaper and radio and we are wondering if you would like to join into this adventure by sharing stories, in audios, texts, images, videos or any resource from ICT. Hello. We are a group of 30 students in 7th level of secondary school. Our ages are between 9 to 12 years. We would really enjoy by exchanging stories from our communities with kids around the world. Our mother language is spanish but we want to explore new ways to learn English as a Second Language. Bonjour, Je suis en seignante en CM2 dans un lycée français, en Colombie. Nous organisons toutes les années un voyage scolaire en France: visite de Paris puis accueil des enfants en familles. Pour cela, je recherche une classe de CM2 intéréssée pour correspondre avec ma classe toute l'année scolaire 2009/10 et nous recevoir pendant 2 semaines (fin mai/début juin). De préférence dans la région Rhône Alpes. Projet très intéressant et enrichissant, tant pour les enfants colombiens qui se retrouvent en immersion complète que pour les enfants français et leur famille qui découvrent une autre culture. à bientôt |
