Enseignante au Caire dans une école Internationale, je souhaiterais trouver une classe de CM2 à Paris, intéressée par une correspondance scolaire par Internet. Nous allons visiter Paris du 8 au 15 Décembre et nous pourrions renconter nos futurs correspondants pendant notre séjour. We kindly invite you and your School to participate in the second annual Akhnaton American International School Peace Poetry Contest. The focus of the contest is peace, nonviolence and the abolition of war and hate. Last year, students from 55 schools of 30 countries participated in the event by sending their poems. The poems, submitted from all over the world, have been an enthusiastic response to the calls for peace! This year we will also like to receive even more poems coming from many other new schools! Children, particularly, are open to creatively ex¬pressing feelings through poetry. Teachers and fami¬lies, likewise, are vitally interested in promoting peace and nonviolent solutions and attitudes needed to seek a community and world at peace. A.A.I.S. believes that poetry is a prime and meaning¬ful medium for creating a culture of peace. Poetry uses and ancient format to advance culture and learning. It makes creative use of language and ideas to advance the creation of folk art. A.A.I.S. believes that peace poetry con¬tests can help change the cultural focus from “Poetry of War” to “Poetry for Peace,” a much broader, more hu¬manitarian appeal. The Peace Poetry Contest provides a positive milieu where children and young people can share feelings and craft their words creatively, with adults, through poetry. Cairo, December 30, 2011 Dear all, A.A.I.S Peace Poetry is an activity simply provide the venues, support and guidance to ‘ Open Space to Open Minds to Peace ‘ through poetry as it is the medium that not only calms the soul and eases the mind, but also as a way to express words in more a thoughtful, soothing way. This activity is open, transparent, patient and committed in a try to draw from all walks of life, freeing them from their stasis and mobilizing them. Every one of our students who participate in such an activity is a peace leader and peace educator. Every day we must take ownership of ourselves and our relationships: we can do anything we set our minds and hearts to; we do no harm, expect and demand no harm be done to us or others; no one is better than another; we are critical thinkers, finding our own truths; education is our best investment and information our most important resource. Building a healthy culture is about building a healthy relationship – we can do that. As we take ownership of peace, others will definitely follow – because it will be uplifting and empowering, it will be infectious, and lead to sudden, massive, cultural change. Bonjour,J'interviens en grandes écoles et pour 2 missions de 8 jours chacunes, je recherche a être accueilli chez l'habitant - famille, il serait bon que je sois pas très loin de l'Université américaine ou française (shorouk). Je réalisé des interventions sur plusieurs pays...et je suis très ouvert c'est pourquoi, je préfère être avec les personnes du pays.que d'être a l'hôtel...bon, pour plus de détail, me joindre. Bonjour, Je suis enseignante à l'école française du Caire en Egypte dans une classe de CE2. J'ai l'intention de travailler cette année sur le handicap en général et sur la cécité en particulier avec un travail sur le Braille avec ma classe. J'ai 25 élèves (âgés de 8 à 10 ans, tous voyants et francophones) et je cherche à correspondre avec une classe ou un groupe qui serait intéressé par notre projet, pour avoir des échanges culturels en Braille ou mixes en Braille et noir (peut-être avec une Clis de type 3?) Hello! I am looking for schools around the world who would like to communicate with a group of fantastic Egyptian children. We are hoping to start an after school club called 'Friends around the world' and would like to learn about the different school and everyday life experiences children have, in other parts of the world. We are an international school and all of our children have an excellent understanding of the English language.
