I have wanted to be a vet since I was 2 years old
I love animals so much I know that you have to studdy for 7 Years but the reward that comes at the end that you get to help animals is awesome! I have 2 dogs they are labradoors 1 is a boy his name is Simba and 1 is a girl her name is Sky!
the truth is that animals can live without humans but we can't live without animals . so we should save animals right we are animals our selves!:)

I LOVE ANIMALS!!! And I have my heart set on being a vet when I grow up. I wouldn't know life without animals. I have seen my fair share of abused animals. We once had a dog named Cookie, and if you walked up to her and reached out to pet her, she would lay down, roll over, turn her head and start to cry. We were fostering her, and now she has a good home with some friends of mine. It makes me so sad when I see all those abused animals on animal shows. so I'm gonna go into veterinary medicine, I'm gonna help save abused animals!!!

HI there! I have had a love for animals since i can remember. I knew I wanted to be a veterinarian when the vet came out to our cattle farm to fix a calfs broken leg. I since then have wanted to do what he did, help animals. I have had many pets but I currently own one horse, one cat, and 13 adult bettas (I breed and am an IBC member) I also have currently about 10 crown tail fry. When I was like 3 I watched a tv show about how animals are abused and how hurt they got which got me very interested then I watched a series when I was 5 called Bondi Vet and that basically settled it for me!!

Hello, I wanted to be a vet when I was 4. I learnd this animal cruelty project, I hate to see that at China that they kill tigers for fur and stuff. I also hate that Japan kills dolphin,that started me up to be a vet,

lets see when i growing up i lived around a lot of animals i was probably four when i started taking care of my dog Zoey she was a yorkshire terrier or yorkie for short she had diease in her throat so it was really bad seeing your pet dying everyday in front of you um Zoey died March 6th 2007 at 13 yr. old my family knew Zoey was going away so thats why we bought my recent dog aka another yorkie named PARNIE she was born in 2006 December 7 she is now six and living healthy but thats what inspired me to become a vet i have rescued 3 dogs Lucy a black labrador retrevire Isabell a jackrussell terrier and Sophie a jackrussell mixed with basset hound all three of them have good homes Lucy lives with my nieghbors the Bakers which have another Lab named Sally and Isabell lives with my cousins wife's grandparents and Sophie lives with the other Bakers which have a golden retrevire named Jackson so giving those dogs to neighbors and reletives felt really good which made me glad that those three adorable girl dogs found good homes ill keep posting things about them everyweek

I love animals, and my grandomther recently got this new cat that was scarred for life when she was thrown out of a moving car window. She wont let ANYONE touch her, or so we thought, but in the first day, she basically BEGGED me to pet her! Same with all the scared animals at my aunts pet recue center in Michigan. I live in Texas. They all LOVED me, and they've benn abandoned by their mothers and owners!

Vets are not dumb!! Without vets there would be a lot of hurting, suffering animals. There's a baby miniature donkey at auburn university who got in a accident and lost her leg. But the, "dumb auburn university vets," gave her an artificial leg and saved her life!! VETS RULE!!

Bonjour,

Depuis que j'ai 6 ans je rêve du métier de vétérinaire, hors je suis médiocre en mathématiques, chose essentielle pour le bon déroulement des études vétérinaire j'ai néanmoins augmenter ma moyenne : en 6eme j'avais 7 de moyenne en maths et en 4eme je suis monter jusqu’à 12,5. Mais si je ne suis pas très bonne en maths ai je tout de même une chance de réaliser mon rêve ?

hey i LOVE animals i have soo many animals 2 i have wanted 2 be a veterinarian since i first found out what there job is and i was like 3 i remember i had a dog when i was 3 and he became very sick so we took him 2 the vet and the vet was such a nice lady but anyway my dog had a disease he died a month later ever since then i have been trying 2 know everything about every animal and tying 2 keep them all alive because i LOVE ANIMALS i dont want 2 become a vet when im older i WILL become a vet i just cant bare 2 see any animal die i remember my dog just lying on the floor 1 morning and didn't wake up i was heart broken i cryed 4 days :( o i miss him so much anyway if u wanna know any more about my yaers with animals or how 2 take care of them jus ask

Hi vets!!,do you find that even at a vets and someone asks you what you want to be and you say you want to be a vet,all they ever say is ether that its a lot of work, or that there are a lot of exams,witch i know that there are,but the roughly same amount as a Doctor,and not a quarter as good a job,and its not like they say ;its a lot of work but worth it,and once i(quite truthfully )said i had 2 college level anatomy text books,and guess what?....he totally ignored me!!!!. please tell me your story's.

Pour répondre à ta question: cela dépend:si tu veux etre assistante vétérinaire ou vétérinaire(officiel,généraliste...); mais environ maximun 9 ans d'étude(j'ai lu ça sur le blog de l'école de vétérinaire de toulouse)et un peu plus pour les spécialisation (dans mon cas spécialisation félin). voilà!

Salut.
Il faut faire 7 ans d'étude pour faire vétérinaire, ensuite, pour être vétérinaire dans un zoo (j'aimerais bien aussi)c'est une question de chance, et donc, il ne faut pas de professionnalisation.

Yeah that was a big speed bump for me too, but my mom says once I get older I will be able to handle it better. I think you should go into veterinary medicine, maybe one day I'll be stationed in great Britten and we can work together!! :0)

I've wanted to be a vet for sooo long. I < 3 animals! At the moment, I have 2 dogs called Barkley and Cleo, and a cat called Ellie. I really want 3 chipmunks called Alvin, Simon and Theodore but they're about £90 for 3 :(

BTW I don't live in austrailia but they don't have my country (England-UK). It would be pretty cool to live in austrailia tho :)
