Astronaute - "Anybody who shares my perspective"

I am thinking about space and the future of humanity every day. My dream is the world where we live on several planets. Where humanity is united, regardless of race, religion and skin color, working together to explore the vastness of space, maybe even to meet some friends from another galaxy.
I understand that my chances to get to space in my lifetime are miserable. But I want to make everything I can to ensure that humanity will reach the next level.

What are the chances of me getting into a good university? Not great... What are the chances of someone getting a job at NASA? Extremely slight. Everything I've seen on here seems so basic, like nobody bothers to be informed, even the older people, not just the kids. I see "NASA" in every post, but nobody has EVER mentionned the ESA or FKA/RKA or JAXA or the SSO or CNES! It seems like NOBODY knows that you have a better chance at such a job if you apply in your own country. People always hear "NASA this and NASA that" on TV, but think of ISS, there are people from all agencies up there. Don't think that NASA is better because it is bigger/richer/more popular. Maybe you should rethink your "dream" if you aren't even bothered to learn about it properly or make sure you've checked ALL your options before asking if NASA is a good place. I'm 14, but I probably know my chances and the way to get there better than most people I have seen posting on here. LEARN!!

Quelles sont mes chances d'entrer dans une bonne université? pas très bonnes. Quelle est la probablilité que quelqu'un décroche un emploi a NASA? Très petite. Tous ce que j'ai vu ici est tellement basique, c'est comme si personne veut s'informer sur ce sujet, même les plus vieux, pas que les gamins comme moi vous direz. Je voit "NASA" partout, mais personne ne parle de la ESA ou FKA/RKA ou JAXA ou la SSO ou du CNES! C'est comme si tout le monde croit qu'ils auront une meilleure chance de décrocher un job chez NASA que dans l'agence spatiale de leur propre pays! On entends toujours "NASA ça, NASA ci" a la TV, mais pensez a la station internationale, il y a des astronautes/cosmonautes de toutes les agences la haut. Il ne faut pas croire que NASA est mieux parce-que elle est l'agence la plus grande/riche/populaire. Peut-etre vous devez reflechir un peu a votre "rêve" de devenir un homme/femme de l'espace! On dirait une bande d'incultes, vraimment, comme ci NASA était le seul éspoir dans vos vies. J'ai 14 ans, mais je pense que je connait mieux le systeme que plus de la moitié des gens ici. RETOURNEZ A VOS ETUDES!!!

Pardon, je sait que ceci n'est pas un forum professionnel mais ce serait sympa que les gens sachent de quoi ils parlent ici, et qu'ils ne le disent pas just pour parraitre "cool".

That is what I was thinking when I read the comments.. These kids need to be sure they want to become astronauts before they post some random comment. I'm 16 and I have done my research... I am soon going to learn how to fly an aeroplane and am working on my associates in high school. Although my chances are slim, I am going to apply for Rensler Aeronautical university next year, and I'm very sure I'll get accepted, since I have been receiveing a lot of mail from them directed to me asking me to apply there... They (the iniversity itsfel) want me to apply! I'm very excited and am doing everything possible to be an astronoaut after researching about it.

Hey! i agree that there are other forms of life out there. I also believe we are way more advanced than them, despite common belief. Who says the sky is the limit? I AM THINKING BEYOND THE SKY! I have been to the Kennedy Space Station and I LOVED it there. It looks so cool to defy gravity! Too bad our president is shutting down manned missions :( Maybe in the future I will become thee first president in space! Then I will give all our money to NASA!!! haha just kidding. (ill only give most of it)

Il n'y a pas que la NASA. Essaye avec la ESA peut etre tu aura plus de chance la-bas. Cela dépends aussi de ton metier en ce moment, peut etre tu as besoin d'aller plus loin, ou de retourner a l'uni pour etudier une science plus approfondie? En tout cas, bonne chance. C'est aussi mon rêve, et je sait a quel point c'est difficile, mais j'essayerai quand même :)
