I don't play rugby, my brother used to play union, but I have grown up in a rugby-loving family! I remember watching it from when I was REALLY young. I like both; my favourite league team is West Sydney Tigers, or the Cronulla Sharks or the New Zealand Warriors and my favourite union team is the New Zealand All Blacks! My parents are from NZ so my whole family go for the kiwi's! I went to an All Blacks vs Wallabies game the other night, and the All Blacks won YEY!! Chow pplz!! -Shanley :D

my country's national rugby league team (PNG KUMULS) has a history of gettin trashed by the Kangaroos (Aussie national team). We are yet to win a game...as much as i hate the roos' guts, I must admit they are the best team on the field..esp wit players like Billy Slater and 'King' Darren Lockyer (retired). :-)..LOVE THE SPORT..

Rugby is a form of football invented in GB. I don't know much about American Football but from what I've seen on TV it looks like rugby. Here is a link to wikipidia about rugby, but be aware that there are two main groups in the rugby family : rugby union played with 15 players and rugby league with only 13, the first one being in general much more "known" and appreciated. It is a great sport really, I just love it, I gave up on football(soccer for you)when I discovered this game, way much more intense and spectacular and like Luke said really open to any physical type. Just watch a match from the world cup to have an idea, the USA took part in the Wcup you know, there were not bad if you see the final score (well exept from the game against Australia, but this team is considered as among the best in the rugby world).

Hello Brittini, I'm Octave, I'm French and I can explain you about Rugby.
In USA there is rugby! But it's not a develop sport in your country. The USA is in the rugby world cup! It's a good teame, but no a great teame.
Rugby can be compared to football US, but in Rugby, you can make many pass (but just behin you) and you can shoot on the ball as much faith

Moi je suis principalement pour l'ASM, et ensuite pour Montpellier. Pour ce qui est de l'équipe nationale, ils se rattraperont à la coupe du monde.

I started a girls rugby team in my town, since my brother helped start the boys team. I'm a nine man, well not a man, but that's what I play... My brother is really good is playing for college. I love rugby a lot and I was the captain last year when I was a junior and I'm going to be this year as a senior too. It's a really great sport. :)
