(Canada / Germany) - 17/04/2005 : Having spent 3 winters now in Portugal (Algarve), it was the most pleasant surprise to find the people in Madeira so much more friendly and courteous than on the mainland. I can definitely recommend this place to anyone for a visit, and not only for the lack of all the noisy motor scooters, dogs and the most agressive and reckless drivers as found on the mainland, but the scenery and cultural aspects of the island are well worth a visit. Elina (Sweden) - 24/10/2005 : I love Madeira. I got a strange cap from Madeira as my sister bought for me when she was there and it is so cute (and warm)! I want to go there my self one day. |
