Finnish Spitz
These dogs are friendly , active , playful , keen and courageous . They are gentle hunting dogs and they are great with children and older adults .These dog needs to know that people are above them . They are snobby to other humans and good with other pets . They are loyal to their families but requires a lot of patience . They are great watch dogs . The Finnish Spitz is nicknamed " barking bird dog" in Finland . They were breed to bark alot so if you are not a fan of this I dont suggest getting this breed . If these dogs will become annoying if you do not excerise it enough or do not show your dominiance . The average height is 15 -20 inches and weigh about 31 -35 pounds . It will do okay in apartments . They need a lot of excerise and need long daily walks . They live to about 12-15 years old . They need grooming with a brush and comb to get out the dead hair and they are seasonly heavy shedder . They are native to Finland .They were Finnish Backing Birddogs .
