The United States of America is a beautiful and amazing country that stretches from the Alantic Ocean all the way across to the Pacific. We have states up above canada (Alaska)and in the far reaches of the Pacific, that are mearly islands (Hawaii).
In the United States we belive in life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness!
It is also belived and an American value that every man is created EQUAL. The only sad part is that not every American practices this belief, and this is sad and causes trouble especially among young people.

| In the U.S. there are many different races, cultures, and religions living here.( again why discrimination causes so many problems with so many different peoples in this country!)There are very many hispanics who live here and many people who speak spanish! The U.S. is ranked #3 for the number of spanish speaking poeple in the world! Although most hispanics live in California, and Florida (primarily miami florida., because there are a lot of cubans who flee to there.)
Also there are many different asian races living in the U.S. and in Lousiana, the people speak french, this are is known for Mardi Graw, in the French Quarter. Unfortunatly, though a couple of years ago the French Quarter and New Orleans where Mardi Graw is most famous in Louisiana, was destroyed by a Hurricane and we have not been able to hold Mardi Graw there although the rest of the country still celebrates it! |
