Korea has a long history of about a half 10 thousand years and invaded by allies many times.
So a various of cultural factors have affected korean culture. But korean people have adapted
what they used to have in nature to the others very well.
Buddhism and confusianism are good examples of the cases..
Buddhism first arrived in Korea in A.D. 372 of the reign the Goguryeo Kingdom.
After its introduction, Buddhism exerted a powerful influence in the Baekje Kingdom and Silla Kingdom. Bulguksa Temple and Seokguram Grotto, which are designated as World Cultural Heritage sites by UNESCO, are Buddhist creations from the Silla Kingdom.
The nation's invaluable Buddhist heritage abides in buildings, sculptures, paintings and handicraft.
Second, confusianism is chinese ideal of nation. It first reached Korea in the end of the
reign the Koryu Kingdom. After its introduction, confusianism have had a powerful influence
even till now. Especially in the early times of the Chosun Kingdom. It had been studied by scholars and politians of the country. According to the rules of confusianism, koreans have respected their ancestors and parents, worked hard for their country and loved their neighborhood and frends. Moreover confusianism have changed the initial pattern of korean life style.

These days Korean cuisine is characterized by a wide variety of meat and fish dishes along with wild greens and vegetables. Various fermented and preserved food, such as kimchi, jeotgal and doenjang are notable for their specific flavor and high nutritional value. Compared to neighboring China and Japan, a spoon is used more often in Korea, especially when soups are served.
Finally koreans are usually very kind of foreign people and have pure and warm hearts.
