Mahatma Gandhi

Mahatma Ghandi lead a non-violent movement of independence from UK. He was born in October 2,1869 at Gujarat in India. In 1947 India broke into 2 countries: India and Pakistan. On January 30, 1948, Gandhi was killed by Nathuram Godse. Many people consider him The Father of India. He inspired many people with his non-violent movment.

This is an outline map of India with a few major cities before it broke apart in 1947 into the two countries that are there now: Pakistan and India

Taj Mahal

Taj Mahal is one of the Wonder's of the World. The Materials used to make this work of art was found all over India. It was built on the south of Agra. Taj Mahal is 55 meters tall. It was essentialy completed in 1643 but work continued on the complex.
