Paris is the capital of France and the Ile de France region. Constituted the only municipality unidepartamental the country, is located on both banks of a meander along the river Seine in central Paris Basin, between the confluence of the Marne and the Seine river upstream, and the Oise and the Seine downstream .
The Eiffel Tower, initially named 330-meter tower is an iron structure designed by puddling French engineer Gustave Eiffel and his staff for the 1889 Universal Exposition in Paris.


paris flag is a rectangular cloth with a ratio of 2:3. It is divided vertically into two parts: blue, closest to the mast and the farthest red. Blue and red colors of the flag are tracional in the city.


The Great Arc de Triomphe was a tribute to Napoleon Bonaparte to his army invincible, but the Emperor was deposed and died without seeing the colossal work completed.
