Tanzania is a country of an area of 945 087 kmē, located in East Africa between 8 countries : Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Malawi, Zambia and Mozambique.
The capital is Dodoma but the biggest city is Dar Es Salam. Tanzania is divided in 26 regions and 98 districts . This is a Republic led by its president Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete.
Tanzania had its Independance in 1961 from the United Kingdom.
There are around 37 849 133 inhabitants.
