BIOGRAPHY-
3rd Wish is neither a casted boyband, nor a nine-day wonder in the music business: 3 years ago in 2001 Ricky and Justin founded their own band and the record company Skreem Records USA, which is based in Orlando/ Florida, decided to sign them. At the same time Alex was signed to the same record company, but as a solo artist. The 3 guys saw each other almost every day, soon became friends and later on moved together. Each one of them already gathered experiences in the music business in their childhood and youth: Alex worked as an actor at Justin TimberlakeŐs side for the Disney Club, Justin performed in several musicals and Ricky worked as a DJ. As time went by, the 3 guys realized, that they have a lot in common, especially when it comes to their passion for singing, playing instruments (acoustic guitar, piano and percussion) as well as writing lyrics, and they ended up practicing together at home everyday. Each one brought their own talent, flavor and style to the group: Ricky and Alex have a Spanish background (Ricky: Puerto Rican, Alex: Cuban) and Justin is pure American. They decided to mix their 3 different styles and thatŐs how they developed their amazing Latin Pop-R&B sound.
Skreem Records USA was thoroughly convinced that this composition and interesting mixture of 3 different styles meets all the requirements to create something special and to guarantee success on a long-term basis: The band 3rd Wish was born!!! In June 2003 Tony Harrison, Vice President of Skreem Records USA, decided to bring the band over to Germany in order to put the finishing touches to them in: Singing, dancing, dieting, fitness training etc. In October 2003 3rd Wish had their first chance to build up fans when they performed at the biggest music convention in Germany. In March 2004 3rd Wish performed successfully in 14 cities all over Germany as an opening act for the big Popstars Tour. That's when they could finally prove and convince the audience as well as the media people, that they are not a typical boyband, but real artists and musicians by singing acapella and playing instruments in order to emphasize their vocal and musical abilities once again. 3rd Wish does not stand for exaggerated shows or special effects. They only rely on their stage presence and the power of persuasion of their songs. In June 2004 3rd Wish shot their video to the first single "Obsesion" feat. Baby Bash in Miami and the single, which was released on the 26th June 2004 in the GAS territory, entered the Media Control Charts in Germany from 0 to 21 and soon became Top 5! 3rd Wish is successful in the whole GAS territory: In Austria they have reached the chart position of nr.2 and in Switzerland nr.7 an they have already built up a big and strong fan base in those territories. Since the release of "Obsesion" 3rd wish got offers and requests from all the main TV and radio stations to perform at their shows and from all the magazines for interviews and photo sessions. On the 25th 3rd Wish will release their first album in Germany, and the 2nd single, which is called Ninja, will be released on the 01 November 2004 in the GAS territory. But at the same time 3rd Wish is trying to focus on the other countries like Belgium, France and of course the UK in order to convince them of their talent, the quality of their performances and songs, as well as the international potential of 3rd Wish!
