An Unconventional Form of Communication

Arabic, Chinese, Spanish, Greek, Finnish. Hundreds of languages exist. These languages fragment further into a thousand more regional dialects. Even body language is not international, as social cues are different in every culture. The Tower of Babel is no biblical story; it is the reality.

However, humans have learned and developed another form of communication. It is called music.

Music is the language of the soul, the language that does not appeal to your logic or reason. Compared to rhetoric, it is the ultimate form of pathos. And just like rhetoric, it must be well thought out. Everyone can understand music. It takes skill to speak it. However, it falls out of the usual realm of grammar rules, associating words with the tangible, sentence structure, and other restrictions. There are no rules to hold you back. It cannot be analyzed by specialists, it cannot be dissected into numbers and formulas.

Music is limitless.
