 
Escola Emili Vallès is a Primary School in Igualada (Catalonia, Spain). There are 260 students, from 3 to 12 years old. We study English as a foreign language, we start at the age of 5. Older students also have Science lessons in English, to help them improve their language level, by using it in a meaningful way.
Our school follows a global methodology, based on project work. We try to reinforce cooperative work, and we believe in the importance of the school as a means to help students improve their competences.
The two English teachers are specialized in CLIL methodology, and also work as English teacher trainers.
We would like our students to meet other children from Europe, in order to make our Geography more meaningful and motivating. In addition to this, we think that a penpal project also helps our students to improve their writing and reading skills. |
