Homework(less of it)
Teachers should give students less homework. In grade 8, many students are busy at home, like my mom, she always works at night. I need to help her out, with cooking, washing dishes, and other tasks. Some students have some activities to do for their parents. I have activities to do too. I have Saturday school, air cadet school, and band. When students go out with their friends, they can learn from their friends, by talking to them

The first reason is that some students are really busy at home. Like me, I want to spend more time with my family. I have many, many chores to do. Sometime my mom has to work at night, I have to wash all the dishes, and clean the whole house. There is not enough time to finish my homework. I have other homework too. I have Saturday homework, math is easy, but my English homework is hard. I need to use a dictionary to do it. I want to work at night, but I need to go to sleep at 10:00p.m or I won’t grow.

The second reason is that some students like to go out with friends. I’m in Ell class, so I should learn more English. I always go out with my friends in the spring time. I can learn more when I talk with friends. My friends run with me. I can be healthy by running. When my mom gives me money, I will go to shoppers drug mart to buy chips with my friends. I can learn to talk with other people. In the winter, I will use phone call my friend to talk. In the winter, outside is very cold.

The third reason is that many students have activities to do. Every Tuesday morning at 7:00a.m. I have band, so I have to wake up early. It makes me tired. Some students have Saturday school, and I have Saturday school too. I have two subjects to go to. I have math, and English. I need to spend some time practising my instrument, band, and Saturday school.

Most students like to have less homework. I can help with mom more. I would like to go out talk to my friend. Many activities to do. I like to have less homework.
