Abortion
I believe abortion is COMPLETELY wrong. It is SO cruel in so many ways. I dont understand how people could think it is right! Nearly one-third of American women will have an abortion. On average, women give at least 3 reasons for choosing abortion: 3/4 say that having a baby would interfere with work, school or other responsibilities; about 3/4 say they cannot afford a child; and 1/2 say they do not want to be a single parent or are having problems with their husband or partner. I understand this, that they cannot afford a child, but when you choose to have a baby, you're choosing to HAVE A BABY. You CANNOT give something life, and then KILL it. Abortion is taking someones life. It is MURDER. It is KILLING. First of all, the ten commandments say murder is sin. Our NATIONAL LAW says MURDER IS AGAINST THE LAW, so how is abortion NOT killing?!?!?!?!??!?!?! Why would you want to murder a sweet innocent adorable charming baby? Give it a chance. Or, dont give it a chance. If you dont want a baby, dont HAVE A BABY! You're not a VICTIM of being pregnant. Its a choice that YOU make to become pregnant. If you choose to get pregnant, then youre choosing to have the baby. The baby should not be punished because of your decision to have the baby. |
| Death Penalty
I'm not completely either side. If someone killed my mom, I would definitely want them dead. I understand those who support the death penalty. But I don't think just killing them is enough of a punishment. If you get killed, its just over. Its not even a slow painful death, its a quick death. Also, how completely absolutely utterly entirely totally ultimately fully wholly solidly stupid is it to say, "You are under arrest for the murder of ------," and then murder them for murder? Like, thats like, arresting someone for arresting someone. Can you at least understand that part of my thinking?! Because i think that is just so wrong. Killing someone because they killed someone. it makes sense, because thats what i would want, but killing is wrong either way. Your getting killed, killing is wrong, so we're gonna kill you because you killed and killing is wrong. I mean, make them live in prison. Solitary confinement or something. Those are some of the worst punishments that don't cross the line of torture... plus, when they die, they could accept Jesus as their savior, and go up to heaven! I know your thinking something like what the laskjhfdae is wrong with her?! Murderers dont go to heaven, they go to hell! Well, think again. John 3:16-17 says, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, and whoever believes in him shall not die but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world but to save the world through him." God wants every single one of us to go to heaven, and he wishes every single one of us would. The murderer on death row could accept God, so then we would be sending them to heaven... that is anything but a punishment. Also, if killers are killing people, they usually want to die.. so killing them is just giving them what they want. |
