I GUESS THIS IS THE END OF PART 2!
TIME FOR PART 3!
We all know the Americans had a rebellion.
But so did the Irish.
If you dont know the story of the Easter Rising in 1916 this next paragraph may interest you.
The rising on Easter Monday is known as the 1916 Easter Rising.
These are the two flags that were flying over the General Post Office on that important day.

The Irish Republic

And

On Easter Monday 1916,
James Connolly, Pádraig Pearse And Thomas Clarke with around 200 men.
Charged the General Post Office and many other important city buildings.
Such as Jacobs Biscuit Factory, Liberty Hall and Boland Mills.
At 12 am The Irish Republic was proclaimed.
Pádraig Pearse read the proclaimation of Independence.
Baracades were made from overturned cars.
Soon afterward the Lancers ( soldiers on horses )
Charged towards the General Post Office.
Many were cut down and shot.
Men took the Lancer's pistols and ammunition.
After a five day stand-off the rebel leaders wrote out a surrender form and signed it.
Many captured rebels were sent to prison camps in Wales.
Some were shot, but a lucky few escaped.
The prisoners over in Wales were set free after a year.
By that time republican support and funding had massively grown.
Speeches were made and a new government Dáil Eirinn decided to launch a guerilla war.
A war where enemy soldiers were shot secretly.
In 1924 we were upgraded to The Irish Free State. But for some that wasn't enough. They wanted total independence from England and to not have to take an oath on the crown when joining parlament! That was the Civil War but thats another story.
My Uncle Séans Dad was in the 1916 Easter Rising.
He was a VERY brave man.
I want to thank all of the people who veiwed this blog!!!
I think history should matter,
and now I know I'm not the only one who thinks that.
I would like to see more people filling out the survey and posting in the Forum.

I will focus on BOTH sides,
Cathal
In 1939 World War Two started when Germany lead by Adolf Hitler,
Invaded Poland.
He had already invaded Austria,The Sudetenland,Bohemia and Moravia,Memel And Slovakia.
And he got away with it without starting a war!
Hitler hated Jewish people,
He hated them because he thought they were taking money from people, at this time Germany was already on its knees with debt from World War One which it lost.
He made the German people they were better than other races of people, sparking anti-Jewish feelings throughout Germany, he pointed the finger and literally said 'the Jewish are the problem'
People ask, "How did the people not know what he was doing?"

The answer is, the German people were unaware of Hitler's terrible concentration camps because:

1. The German radio stations were all owned by Nazis, so the radio only broadcasted what the Nazis wanted you to hear.

2. People very rarely got out of the concentration camps.

3.People who were caught listening to anti-Hitler or foreign radio stations were shot or tortured.
Here is one of his most famous speeches.
Deputies! Men of the German Reichstag!

A year of world-historical events is coming to an end. A year of great decisions is approaching. In this grave period I speak to you, deputies of the Reichstag, as the representatives of the German nation. In addition, the entire German nation should also review what has happened and take note of the decisions required by the present and the future.

During the war many people were killed for what they believed in.
The Jewish people were killed for being Jewish.
The Catholics were killed for being Catholic.
Many people who spoke out against Hitler were killed.
The war was NOT good.
On the Allied side,
German citizens were rounded up.
Japanese people in America were put in prisons
The same things happened to Italians.
Shops and cafés owned by Germans or Italians were robbed and burned.
This was because the people were afraid that the Germans Italians or Japanese would spy for their countries
DISCLAIMER: I am NOT saying the Allies were bad these people liberated Nazi Europe!
They were GOOD people
