This ones dedicated to the amazing Lily♥
Lily has asked me to share my tips on pliés. So yeah let's go!
Okay first you all are probably wondering "whats plié mean?" plié means to bend. Now you're wondering "what is a plié? I don't know what you mean? so what is it? I think I know, I kinda know." So basicly there is pictures above about how to go into and get out of the a grand plié. Stage 2 and 4 are a demi pliés. Demi plie's can be done in first, second, third and fifth (I tdon't know about 4th) however a grand plié can only be done in first, third and fifth. You normally do pliés in your bar work. My tips are: 1. keep the best posture you can. 2. it's a bit hard to come up but try your best. and yeah that's about it thanks for reading! sorry if it's not enough I forget what my ballet teacher says I'll update the tips soon!
Oh and before you leave I just need to warn you about the stretch channel I put up. Okay so it may look awesome, But it could include injuries. They may say stretch everyday, but you shouldn't put that much presure on yourself if you have just started one their stretching programs that is meant to be done each weak, start by doing it once this weak increase a day each week. But I recommend with my routine since I dance 5 hours a weak (3 hours tuesday, 2 on wednesday) I would do one that's supposed to be every day 3-4 days a weak. but if you only dancing like 1 or 2 hours a week I'd say do it to about 4,5 days max. 3-4 hours I recomend around 3-4 days. 5 hours + I recomend the 3 days, 4 days max. these are just to go with your weekly dance routine :). p.s I am no professional it's just I recommend this as I don't want you guys to hurt yourselves! and I have been dancing for 7 years so yeah. |
