Here are some rules for Hockey, grade 8 (1011 year olds) Other age groups have different rules.
-The ball can only touch the stick, not any other of the body, even feet unless you are a goalie. If this happens, it's the other teams hit
-No hitting, kicking or aggresive play. If this happens it's the other teams hit from where it occured. Be nice and have sportsmanship!
-A goal can only be scored if the ball is hit inside the circle, not if you hit it on the outside.
-You have a penalty corner (pc) when a offense occurs in the circle. (see how to play for this)
-If the attacking team hits it out it is the other teams hit, and the opposite.
-If the ball goes out of the circle, and the team defending the goal hit it out, the attacking team hits it from the corner closest.
-If it is the other way round, the team defending hits it from the top of the circle.
