Cole Sprouse, named for the jazz singer and pianist Nat King Cole, was born August 4,1992, in Arezzo, Italy. He is younger than his identical twin Dylan by 15 minutes. Cole was raised in Southern California and began his career in a television commercial at the young age of six months.
From 1993 to 1998, Cole shared a starring role with his brother as Brett Butler's youngest child, Patrick Kelly, on the ABC-TV series "Grace Under Fire."
Cole is most recognized for the big-screen role of Julian in Adam Sandler's 1999 blockbuster "Big Daddy." During the month "Big Daddy" was released, his second feature film also hit theaters - "The Astronaut's Wife" starring Johnny Depp and Charlize Theron.
From 2000 to 2002, Cole and Dylan made numerous appearances on the hit television show "Friends" portraying Ross’s son, Ben Geller. Other shared film credits include "Master of Disguise," "Eight Crazy Nights" and "Piggybanks."
Cole now stars as the introspective Cody Martin on the wildly popular Disney Channel sitcom "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody." This marks the first time he and Dylan are portraying separate roles in the same series.
