Full Name: Josh Hutcherson
Date of Birth, Location: October 12, 1992, Union, Kentucky.
Josh Hutcherson's notable credits start in 2002 when he guest-starred in the TV series "ER" and starred in the TV pilot for the 2002 series "House Blend." Since that time he's been working almost non-stop. In addition to acting, Josh also plays the guitar.
Josh took part in the groundbreaking technology involved in making the 2004 movie "The Polar Express," about a boy who starts to doubt whether or not there's really a Santa Clause. In the movie, Josh never actually appears in the flesh. His performance was captured on computers by way of body sensors, then combined with Tom Hanks' parallel performance and transformed into a computer-generated composite. "We did the same part together," Josh said. "They morphed all of our movements and facial expressions together to make Hero Boy," as the movie's central character is called. "When I saw the trailer (for "Polar Express") I was like, 'I did that,' and it looked exactly like how I did it."
In 2004 Josh was nominated for BEST PERFORMANCE IN A TV MOVIE, MINISERIES or SPECIAL for "WILDER DAYS."
