THE FIREBENDERS.
Zuko-Zuko had been exiled prior to the beginning of the series by his father,[40] and believed that capturing the Avatar was the only way to regain his honor.[41] Zuko's ancestry reflects his own conflicted nature; his paternal great-grandfather is Fire Lord Sozin, the one who started the war, while his maternal great-grandfather is Avatar Roku. also mai's girlfriend.
Azula- She is a gifted Firebending master, able to bend blue fire and lightning, and is more highly favored than her brother. After Admiral Zhao's death, Azula is sent out to not only stop Aang at all costs, but also to capture and humiliate her brother. She believes that power and domination are what makes a person strong.[46] She lacks empathy, treats people as expendable, and is unable to view them as her equals
Mai-is an impassive, bored, nearly emotionless young woman who, along with Ty Lee, at first accompanied Azula on her quest to capture Zuko, Iroh, and the Avatar.[43] She has a very dry and cynical personality and sense of humor. She is a master of stealth and light weaponry; her primary weapons are shuriken daggers, which she uses with great precision and which are kept concealed in her clothing.[8] Ultimately, her conscience chose Zuko over Azula and betrayed the latter, which lead to her imprisonment. She is released after Zuko defeats Azula.[50] She is Zuko's on and off girlfriend throughout Book 3.
ty-lee-is a cheerful, energetic, and somewhat of a valley girl who, along with Mai, accompanies Azula on her quest to capture Zuko, Iroh, and the Avatar.[8] She is one of seven sisters and joins the circus at an early age to appear "different from a matching set." She is a peerless acrobat and can paralyze people or strip their bending powers by striking pressure points.
firelord ozai-He is an extremely powerful firebender — one able to hold his own even against an Avatar fighting with its previous incarnation's skills. In Sozin's Comet: The Final Battle, he renames himself the Phoenix King, ruler of the world, and appoints Azula to watch over the Fire Nation.[50] Due to his corruption and war mongering, Aang strips him of his firebending abilities and removes him from power.[50] Ozai is depicted to be a cruel leader
admiral zhao-is a hot-tempered Fire Nation admiral in pursuit of the Avatar and is Zuko's principal rival throughout the first season. Zhao is a very ambitious man who is intent on making his mark on history, attempting to kill off Zuko in secret for his interference in his capture of Aang and his plan to kill the moon spirit and universally destroy the waterbending capability to take control of the Northern Water Tribe citadel
Iroh-a Firebending master and a former Crown Prince of the Fire Nation, a race of people who can create and manipulate fire.[3] He is a retired General of the Fire Nation, and older brother of Fire Lord Ozai. Iroh accompanied his exiled nephew, Zuko, on his quest to capture Aang, the long-lost Avatar, in order to restore the young prince's honor and rights to the throne.
