I'm Domenico, I'm an italian teacher in a middle school around Venice and I would be interested in the twinning programme of exchanging letters and postcards between mine and your students during the new school year, the only problem would be the possibility to connect via zoom for matters of privacy and for lack of devices in some classes.

Hi dear colleague teachers ! I am working in a school in Vendée, to the west of France, which is located about 20 km from the seaside. Our school counts a number of 547 students aged between 11 and 15. I am looking for a school in Eire and a class that would like to correspond with my students (27 students), aged 13-15 (i.e. classe de 3ème / year 10) who have been learning English for 3 or 4 years (and German or Spanish for 1 year) and are highly motivated to get to know teenagers from ans English-speaking country and would be pleased to share in English/French on their everyday life, culture, etc. on a regular basis. We would be happy if this pen-pal and e-pal school exchange could start in September 2023. Our work would consist in sharing e-mails and traditional letters and cards as well as productions on various subjects that would make them discover their penpals' culture, environment and way of life. The school in italy will start in different dates of September varying from rhegion to rhegion; in Veneto it will start on 11th of September and generally these project would start in October if not even in Novemeber.

I have 18 students in my 6th-grade classroom, would you be interested in starting a pen pal project with my students? The students would write letters/posters and then mail them. I'm from the UK and am teaching English in Japan as an assistant teacher in Shikoku, Japan. The middle school students are aged 12-15, there are 403 students in the school. I want to start a pen pal exchange with a school from the UK, likely via email or letters. The exchange would at least have to deal with one year of the school from Japan (i.e. around 140 students) in order to not leave anyone out. I think it will help a lot for their engagement with the language and establishing some english-speaking connections. Please let me know if you are interested in the offer. |

I want my students to practice their handwriting. I think it would be great for them to communicate with a peer from a different country. I believe it should also make it more engaging for them.

J'aimerais trouver deux classes dans différents pays du monde afin de pouvoir débuter une correspondance. Mes élèves seraient prêts à rédiger la 1ère lettre de présentation à la rentrée scolaire. J'aimerais qu'ils puissent découvrir d'autres cultures et traditions tout en améliorant leur écriture en français. Vos élèves pourraient aussi nous écrire en français ce qui serait une belle opportunité si ceux-ci l'apprennent comme une 2e langue.

Je suis enseignante de français en Birmanie. Mes élèves apprennent la langue française et j'aimerais leur ouvrir un peu les yeux sur le monde francophone. Leur niveau de français n'est pas le meilleur, mais ils parlent tous anglais aussi. Si vous voudriez avoir des échanges en lettres, par emails ou autre moyen comme skype etc, je serais ravie! J'ai des élèves âgés de 11-12 (3 groupes), 12-13 (2 groupes), 13-14 (2 groupes), 15-16 ans (1 groupe).
