Burnett Heads State School is a primary school which services the township of Burnett Heads, Bundaberg Port and surrounding area. It is situated at the mouth of the Burnett River approximately 20 km from Bundaberg and 10 km from the rapidly expanding coastal township of Bargara. Current population of Burnett Heads is 3 000.
The schools' population is approximately 170, with children learning in classes from Prep to Year 7.

The children in Year 3 are learning about different countries and cultures during term 4 in 2008. We will be emailing children from around the World to say "G'day" and findout about their school and families.
