What do we know so far?
(4/22/09) Summit Entertainment announces that David Slade will direct Eclipse!

(3/12/09) The LA Times reports that Juan Antonio Bayona will NOT be directing Eclipse. Still no word from Summit.

(3/11/09) Variety.com reports that Juan Antonio Bayona will be directing Eclipse. Summit has yet to confirm the news, but Variety is a very reliable source.

(2/20/09) The film will not be directed by New Moon director Chris Weitz. This is because he'll still be working on new Moon when work for Eclipse needs to begin.



Royce King II will be played by Jack Huston, who was recently in the movie Outlander.

Royce King II is a human that lived during the great depression and was once engaged to Rosalie Hale before being killed by her.

Huston is the grandson of director John Huston and nephew of actors Angelica and Danny Huston, and is set to appear in ABC’s Eastwick soon.


Jodelle Ferland is a newcomer to the cast of Eclipse–she’ll likely be playing the role of newly-turned vampire Bree in the film.


The recasting of Victoria in Eclipse has quickly turned into quite the debate, with Rachelle LeFevre being replaced by Bryce Dallas Howard.

Summit has just issued a press release in response to the statement that Rachelle LeFevre issued earlier today concerning the casting of Victoria.

Leah Clearwater and Seth Clearwater have been cast for the third film in the Twilight Saga, Eclipse.

Julia Jones will take on the role of Leah Clearwater, and BooBoo Stewart will fill the role of Seth Clearwater.
